This is what I saw on my five minute walk. The smells were the worst I've ever smelled. I saw a woman pulling a trash cart while using a squeaky toy. There were a few fancy guest houses filled with people. There was a really busy street with food stalls, beggars, and motor bikes whizzing around. There were people laughing, crying, and yelling. The river front was beautiful, and it had trees, people and boats. The walk was interesting, most of all.
I am thankful that I’m alive. I’m thankful I have a family, and that I LOVE lasagna, cheeseburgers and chocolate muffins. I am thankful for this trip. I thankful I have a good education. I am thankful I have legos, an RC car, and that I have a roof over my head. I am thankful I have no diseases, and that I have a MACBOOK PRO, and Battle Supremacy. I am thankful for my father, my mother, my brothers, my grandma and grandpa and so on. I am not thankful for spiders, mosquitos and flies. I am thankful for pandas, stubby legged kittens, baby lions, and huskies and Noah. I am not thankful for hot red peppers. I’m thankful for my awesome teacher, and that I have a great life. I’m thankful for my WWII knowledge. I am also thankful for my awesome self, and that I have an orange shirt, and pants, and shoes, and socks. I am not thankful I have to spray my butt after pooping in Thailand. I am thankful for my bike. These are the things I am thankful for.
Yesterday I went on a kayaking trip on Nam Lang River in Thailand. I went because I wanted to have fun. Dad, Zach and I went with a few other people. I saw my dad wipe-out two times in a row. I heard the laughs and screams during the water fight. I felt the water up to my head, and a freezing butt from having water on it. I smelled bat poop at the end of the cave. I also saw my guide fall out of the boat, and it was funny. For my first time river kayaking, it was great.
Today we went to a cave. It looked like the cave from the Hobbit. There was tons of fish. I felt water against my hands when I was trying to catch one. The bat poop smelled like sausage to me. That’s when Zach said I have a huge problem. I heard the bats squeaking and people talking. I saw coffins and a rock shaped like a woman’s breast. I tasted good water from the water bottle. The raft felt like dirty old wood and nails. I also saw tons of bats.I saw one bat fly away. Next time I go to a cave I want to see more coffins.
The train ride to Chiang Mai was a long overnight ride. I felt the rocking of the train. With my head banging against the metal wall on the top bunk every time we picked up speed.
The things I heard were the car engine making a brooming sound. I also heard the car helper going up and down saying “Orange juice, orange juice”. I saw many things from food to a rusty screw. Looking out side the train was fun because there was interesting scenery. The smell was plain and I had no interest in. The food I tasted was not good it was cold. There was white sheets and very uncomfortable beds. The pillows were hard. Overall I liked the train ride. Today I walked the sidewalks of Bangkok. I learned a new word “Tuk Tuk,” a small taxi vehicle with just three wheels. I heard the engines of small cars, and taxi men asking people to ride in their taxi. The things I saw were all different colors. I saw a car with a bunch of people jumping out the back and going to a food court. I felt my toe slamming into the curb on the side of the road. I tasted amazing food. I was being adventurous with it, using different spices. I also saw girls staring staring at me and giggling. The air was super humid and warm. The shade was amazing when you walk out in the sun all day. This was my first amazing day in Thailand.
The train ride was interesting. The scenery was the coolest thing I thought was there. The police man came around and gave Sawyer a sticker. The train was smelly and this guy was super smelly and walked by and made it even worse. The smell of food made me very hungry. The train was loud and squeaky. I also heard Sawyer crying and saying “I can’t do it”. I was also listening to music. The train was blue and grey inside. I felt a comfy seat while touching plastic keys, and a plastic table. On the train ride it was hard to focus with all the noise and busyness while going to LA.
In California, I’m sitting in a place called ACRE COFFEE. I smell really good coffee, while sitting here drinking a mocha, doing school work. I also feel wood under my elbow and I’m touching plastic keys on my computer. I see employees bustling back and forth with coffee, chai and muffins. I hear music and people socializing. I also hear the coffee maker and foot steps of different kinds, and cups clinking with a fragile sound. The mocha with chocolate had an interesting taste. What I see is different shapes with their own perfection.
